Restaurant | "Melia Cozumel"

The Melia Cozumel is an all-inclusive resort. The hotel has three options for food: a snack bar/grill, a buffet, and a fine dining restaurant. The snack bar had classic hamburgers, french fries, chips, nachos, etc. It was great for the kids for a few days, but by the end of the week, even they were tired of it. The buffet was actually very disappointing. They did not have much local quisine. Each day had a different theme, from Chinese to turkey. Most of the cuisine was rather bland and had heavy sauces on it. Fresh fruit was plentiful, but fresh veggies were not. Aqua Safari Dive Shop

Attraction | "Scuba Diving"

Wonderful dive shop! This was a great experience! This was our first ocean experience. The instructors at Aqua Safari helped us to get weights right. They were very patient as we adjusted to life in the ocean. . . not in a pool. For the boat dives, they took us to a different place every day. We had a young diver with us, and they worked with us to ensure the young one could dive with us every day and stay with in his depth limits. They were great tour guides, showing us the beautiful marine life and even helping us to improve our diving skills. They provided snacks and drinks between the two morning dives.
