The Melia Cozumel is an all-inclusive resort. The hotel has three options for food: a snack bar/grill, a buffet, and a fine dining restaurant.
The snack bar had classic hamburgers, french fries, chips, nachos, etc. It was great for the kids for a few days, but by the end of the week, even they were tired of it.
The buffet was actually very disappointing. They did not have much local quisine. Each day had a different theme, from Chinese to turkey. Most of the cuisine was rather bland and had heavy sauces on it. Fresh fruit was plentiful, but fresh veggies were not. Unless you can do the fine dining restaurant or the snack bar, I would not plan on eating all your meals here.
