My sister was married recently on Daufuskie Island, SC. The island is off the SC coast south of Hilton Head. The only way to get on the island is by ferry and the only transportation on the resort is by golf cart. While these presented some inconveniences, it was shortly forgotten once the beauty of the island was revealed.
The ceremony was held in front of the gazebo overlooking the ocean. The walkway from the hotel to the gazebo served as the aisle. The setting was magnificent with the trees and flowers in full bloom. The sun was shining and there was a light breeze. The only sounds on Daufuskie Island are the sounds of nature.
