Overview

Seville is hot in July, but seeing the winding streets of the old city, the gorgeous river, and the Giralda are worth the sweat. While Madrid feels like a major city anywhere, Seville felt like Spain.

Quick Tips:

Stay in the old part of town. See the Palacio Real, the Giralda, take a side trip to Cordoba, and do the cheesy city bus tour.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking is great, cabs are handy. If you can't find your hotel in the narrow streets a cab can always get you there!
The room was large and the bathroom had gorgeous tile. The room was not luxurious, but the ambience of the hotel was stunning. It is an old home/palace. You look up three stories to the balconies of the upper rooms. Colors are bright yellows and dark blues with stunning tilework. Lobby furniture is comfy. You can buy a beer or bottle of wine from behind the desk and the free breakfast is great.

Beware: they turn off the A/C at 6AM, but if you ask, they turn it back on. Sevilla is hot.
