A March 2004 trip to Tokyo by philb9@hotmail.com

Quote: This was my first trip to a country where I didn't speak at least the rudiments of the language. I couldn't say anything as complicated as, "Where is the train station?" All in all, I had a very good time -- a much better time than I had expected.

Keio Plaza Hotel Best of IgoUgo

Restaurant

Quote:
I love this place. The food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable for the high quality of food. This is my current benchmark for high quality sushi. The staff is friendly and remembers you. They are very appreciative of regulars or those willing to sit around for a while and run up a bill. My friends and I have been treated to complementary sake or ice cream several times. It's not an expectation, but nice. I've tried at least a dozen sushi restaurants, and there may be better, but I haven't found it.
