Winter Getaway

A January 2004 trip to Edisto Island by Rebel77

Quote: This is a very nice place to stay. I recommend going during the winter months to get away from the crowds. You can spend time with the locals and eat at the local restaurants without a problem. The food was great and the island was between Charleston and Savannah, which made day trips great.

Best Things Nearby:
Beach and local food.

Best Things About the Resort:
Nice place to relax.

Resort Experience:
The resort was on the beach so you could sit on your balcony and watch the dolphins play each morning and afternoon. It was a very nice and relaxing week with historical towns nearby for day trips.

Attraction | "Walking on the beach"

Quote:
It was grea to walk on the beach right outside your room and watch the sea life. There were no crowds to scare the creatures away and the weather was great, with temperatures mostly in the 70s.
