After leaving the Vacation Village at Weston, we traveled down to South Beach and stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club.

Hilton Grand Vacation Club

We were very pleased with the accommodations. The room was a little small, but very clean and more than the two of us needed.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The big draw to this accommodation is location -- the hotel is located at the top of Ocean Drive and the strip runs south from this location. There are numerous restaurants and stores close by.

Emeril's Miami Beach

Our experience at this restaurant was well worth the price. The service was more than we expected and the food was as good, if not better than we expected. If you want one good meal on a vacation, I highly recommend Emeril's.

Les Deux Fontaines

Restaurant

Les 2 Fontaines

This restaurant is located right on Ocean Drive -- it's a nice location, but can be noisy. The meal was good, but it seemed to be more expensive than it should have been for what we got.

We went scuba diving with this dive store. The dive took place in Key Largo. We met at the dive store and they transported us to Key Largo for the dive (approximately one hour south). The two dives were very good – we saw lots of fish and there was very good visibility. Everything about this excursion was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable.

We thoroughly enjoyed this visit. This is like a small zoo, with monkeys, tigers, parrots, turtles, etc. They have three major shows scheduled throughout the day (Serpentarium, Parrot Bowl, and Jungle Theater); each show lasts about 30 to 45 minutes and they were all very good. You also can stroll around this area and feed the parrots. The only draw back to this visit was the cost ($26 per adult).

Lincoln Road

Experience

Lincoln Road is about three or four blocks of restaurants and shopping. It has a very nice atmosphere and is worth visiting. On Sundays, it turns into a flea market, which is also worth visiting.
