Hot Springs is a wonderful area with several large lakes, mountains in the background, and lots do in the area. Bathhouse row is a must for any first time visitor and several working spas allow you to enjoy the old time experience. There’s lots to do with kids in the area with a kids, from water sports to a water park and amusement park. For adults, there is Garvan Gardens, shows, shopping, and good food. The Chinese restaurant on the main street is great. Quick Tips: The lakes are manmade and I found out this year the lakes are drained about 8 feet in the late fall and refilled in the spring.
