Resort Experience:
The resort is fairly new, but not very organized. There were no planned activities for children. We were told that the activities director had just quit and they will be changing that soon. The pool was nice for kids. The lazy river was nice; however, they do not have enough staff to control the amount of people going through the lazy river with no tubes and instead of it being a relaxing ride, you have to worry about being pushed over.
The food in the restaurant was good both times we ate there.
They have a shuttle that will take you from the pool building to the ocean front building. The ocean front building is not directly on the ocean. If you are assigned to a, ocean front room and you are on the first or second floor, YOU WILL NOT SEE THE OCEAN! If you are in an ocean view room above the second floor, you can see the port. You can see the cruise ships come and go all day. We were fortunate enough to see a rocket launched from the Space Center.
They charge you for chairs and umbrellas on the ocean. The rate was $20 per day while we were there.
