A December 2002 trip to Eugene by Jypsies32
Quote: This was a suprisingly delightful trip in a very green and very lovely place.
Overview
University of Oregon's campus is also something to see. I loved happening upon a group of singing Mormons, shopping in a hippy-girl clothing store, and cruising the library on campus.

Story/Tip
It was bliss! I had a fluffy bed with superior linens, a big tub to soak in, enough Doris Day movies to turn my brain pink, and chocolate at the bedside table. Not to mention that there was a GREAT Vietnamese restaurant down the street where I had Po or Fa (I can never remember)-- the noodle soup that you put scallions and such in. Delicious.
This B&B is like a poetic dollhouse...I found myself taking pictures of sculptures and poems around the house. (Yes, they actually have poetry painted on some of the walls).
Definitely a British feeling here. A cute dog named Angus is the home's mascot. A lovely find. I am forever indebted to some taxicab driver in Eugene.
An excellent place to rejuvenate and get in touch with yourself.
