This trip was a Christmas present for my daughter. We decided that spring break was a great time to get away to the Bahamas and the Ocean Reef Yacht Club was an excellent choice. The resort and the people were the best. I can't wait to go back there again.

Shopping in Port Lucaya and at the International Bazaar. The beaches are just beautiful.

Quick Tips:

Make sure that you bring lots of sunscreen and put it on often.

Best Way To Get Around:

Taxis are the best way to get around. They are all basically the same price.

The Ocean Reef Yacht Club was one of the best places that I have stayed in. The condos were very clean, the pools were immaculate, and the people were the best!!!! You could not have asked for a nicer place to spend your time.

Best Things Nearby:
Port Lucaya Market Place is in one direction and the International Bazaar is in the other direction. The resort is about in the middle of both. Great shopping!

Best Things About the Resort:
The people were wonderful. They couldn't help you enough. Genie was the best – she always kept you busy. There are two pools located at the resort and they are very clean.

Resort Experience:
They have a bus that takes you into Port Lucaya every day at 10am -- you can either go to the beach or shop and the bus will pick you up at 2pm. They have a bus to take you food shopping every day. They have tours every day and they are always trying to keep everyone involved. The Bahama Mama's were the best.

They have washers and dryers centrally located and they are very clean. The grounds were beautiful.

Zorba's was a very nice place to grab something to eat. It is right in the middle of the Port Lucaya Market Place. The food was very good, but the service was a bit slow and then again, you are on vacation and you do things the BAHAMA way. . . relaxed!!!

Gold Rock Beach

Gold Beach

We went on a tour to the Port Lucaya Caves and to Gold Beach. This beach was absolutely beautiful. You can walk this beach forever. Pictures do not do this place justice -- you have to see it to believe it.
