Kauai Keepsake

A March 2004 trip to Kauai by cswit

Kauai has to be ranked in the Top 10 of the most beautiful islands in the world. There's so much to see and do. The mountains and waterfalls were breathtaking, and the ocean was so clear you could see down 100 feet.

Overview

Holo-Holo cruise--whale- and dolphin-watching and going snorkeling at the Forbidden Island. Deep-sea fishing for mahi-mahi, and all the beautiful mountains and waterfalls, just to start.

Quick Tips:

Take plenty of film, as there is so much to see and do. You will want to keep the memories.

Best Way To Get Around:

A car is a must to get around the island and enjoy the sights.
Best Things Nearby:
Anini Beach (great swimming and walking beach). Mountains with waterfalls, the beautiful ocean and the caves at Hanalei Bay.

Best Things About the Resort:
The pool and hot tub. The staff was more than helpful and friendly. Many activites on site to do if you wish.

Resort Experience:
The resort is geared to just about anyone of any age. They have activities at the resorts daily. The swimming pool is very clean and has a sand volleyball court that you can walk up on from the pool. The hot tub has a sand bottom. The grounds are beautiful, and well kept.

We had a two-bed, two-bath condo that was very clean. Six adults stayed here with no problems. The master bath included a combo whirlpool/shower/tub. No air conditioning, but it was not needed, as the trade winds kept the rooms nice and cool.
