A June 2003 trip to Freeport by affetto

We thought a trip to the Bahamas would be fun. Ha! Were we mistaken. Right after we landed the power went out on the island, so there was no air-conditioning and it was in the high 80s. Our accommodations were okay but the service was subzero.

Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort

Hotel | "Ocean Reef Yacht Club"

Never stay at this place. Although the rooms were fine, the service was terrible. Nothing was ever open when it was supposed to be. We did not have power after check-in and the management went home without alerting anyone of the power outage or when it would come on again. The food was greasy.
