We had two standard rooms, each with two double beds. The rooms faced the Kukulcan Boulevard and Nichupte Lagoon. While perhaps not as scenic a view as the ocean-view rooms, it was still pleasant and besides, who wants to spend much time in your room? The rooms were clean and well maintained by the maids, who create new towel "sculptures" every day. The decor is dated, circa 1970s, and the bathrooms have a humidity problem as they only have a vent with no exhaust fan. The bathroom ceilings have had a sub-ceiling added and I suspect that there is serious mildew above them due to the lack of ventilation.
