Quote: Beautiful, warm (not too hot) beach weather in early October, with great breezes to fly my stunt kites. Lots of shopping and fine dining, and sights to see. Many fine nighttime shows and activities to enjoy. Traffic is not that bad this time of year. Relaxing!

Nice, clean beach, fairly level, really opens up at low tide. Large fishing piers in either direction available for sport fishing. Often have good waves for bodysurfing, etc.
