Each condo is an individual unit that sits alone. There are lots of pine trees around each unit to block out the next one. There is a babbling brook that runs behind each unit that you can listen to from the bedroom. Each unit has a deck with BBQ. The bathrooms have a jacuzzi tub. They are small but the space is used very efficiently to seem larger. All the ceilings in each room are high with half-moon windows up high in every room. It is very quiet and peaceful there.

This is a fun family restaurant decorated like it's from outer space. They have great burgers and salads. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and the food was really good and low cost.

Oak Creek Canyon

Highway 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona winds through Oak Creek Canyon. It is great driving down it during the day. There is a wonderful lookout point at the start where local Native Americans sell their goods and the views are spectacular. It is only about 20 miles in distance, but most of the trip inludes many 15mph, 300-degree corners with a steep drop-off on one side. It is so beautiful as you drive down and then wind through the canyon to Sedona.

Cathedral Rock

Attraction | "Hiking or just looking"

Cathedral Rock is the most photographed rock formation in Sedona. All the old Western movies have this rock formation in the background. You can hike up and around it or hike through the park located beneath it with Oak Creek running through it. Fun to photograph at different times of the day.

Chapel Hill was amazing. It is very serene and beautiful. Lots of great opportunities for taking pictures. The history behind its building of the structure was very interesting, and the gift shop was very quaint.

Grand Canyon National Park

Attraction | "Grand Canyon sightseeing"

This is almost indescribable. My first impression was - there must be a God. It is so extremely beautiful and majestic. We hiked 5 miles and saw so many interesting things. The California Condors have been released in the canyon and we took video of many of them while they were resting on some rocks. We talked with some biologists who were there tracking and studying the birds and were given a lot of info about their comeback as a species. You could spend many days in the canyon sightseeing and hiking. There is so much to see. The free buses you can use inside the park are great.

Town of Jerome-National Historic Landmark

Attraction | "Sight seeing"

Jerome has an old copper mine with a museum and park. It sits up on a mountain and the streets of the city literally wind back and forth along the side of the mountain. You can see the red rocks of Sedona and the mountains in Flagstaff from there. There are many gift shops, art shops, and antique stores to spend lots of time and money in. It was a fun day trip and only about 30 minutes from Sedona.

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village

Attraction | "Tlaquepaque"

This is a must-see. You drive through small gates in the wall on cobblestone pavers. It contains many wonderful artist shops and unique shops that you will not find anywhere else. There are musicians playing instruments, wonderful restaurants, and lots of good picture opportunities. Very unique gifts to be found here.
