Skiing in Park City

A March 2004 trip to Park City by mdevane

Spring skiing was fabulous. We tried the Park City areas--Deer Valley, Park City, and Canyons. They were great, but for the best skiing head out to Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons, particularly Alta. Come back to Park City apres ski to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

Hotel | "Park Plaza"

Park Plaza is centrally located in Park City. The rooms are clean and well kept, and had a well-stocked, full-size kitchen. The staff is courteous. The amenities include underground parking, a nice pool, and a hot tub. You can buy lift tickets at the front desk. The only negative was that limited laundry facilities were located in the parking garage.

Leave the kids at home and treat yourself to this wonderful restaurant on Park City's bustling Main Street. They serve delicious food that's beautifully presented. It's expensive, but it's worth it. The setting is lovely in an historic building. Waitstaff is professional and friendly.
