A February 2004 trip
to Myrtle Beach by FXM
Quote: We had three 60 degree golf days and three days where it was cool and wet. The Plantation courses were a challenge and in seasonably good condition. On the inclement days we visited Myrtle Beach and the Huntington Beach State Parks.

The studio unit we occupied was comfortable, but a little small. The kitchen was limited, but serviceable. The larger two- or three-bedroom units are spacious and well equipped, with most units facing a hole on the course.
Both the indoor and outdoor pools were within walking distance from most units. It was too cool to use the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was pleasant.
There are no restaurants or food stores in the development, so a car is critical. If you want to dine out, Business 17, which borders the resort, is lined with restaurants and stores of every type. That road is about a mile from most of the units.
