Park City, Utah off season

An October 2003 trip to Park City by Fishing Guide

My friend exchanged his Disney World week for Park City and brought a group of fisherman and hunters. By providing their own accommodations, they were able to save several thousand dollars.

Best Things Nearby:
Park City 40 minutes away, great fly-fishing and hunting, snow skiing, golf.

Best Things About the Resort:
outside of town very quiet, it is a beautiful lodge-style resort with pools, hot tubs, restaurant, horseback riding rentals and 9000 acres of its own for hiking, mountain biking or winter snowmobiling.

Resort Experience:
Close enough to Park City ski areas and Snow Basin (home of 2002 Winter Olympic Downhill). It's a great winter destination or summer destination. It's a quiet getaway for your family or a romantic week. You will need a car. It is on the Pony Express Trail, the Pioneer Trail, and has many historic sites nearby.

Best Things Nearby:
Fly-fishing and hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, golf, horseback riding

Best Things About the Resort:
no need for a car, it has a free shuttle van (tip the driver) and it is close to the city free bus.

Resort Experience:
It has a great location close to restaurants and nightlife. It has a pool and hot tub. After hunting or fly-fishing all day, we hit the shower and pool, then took the shuttle van to any restaurant we wanted. At the end of the evening, we would call the van to pick us up.

Restaurant | "Adolphs Restaurant"

One of Park City's most successful restaurants. The town's most affordable fine dining. My personal favorite. Other great restaurants in Park City would include: Nacho Mama's Mexican food, Baja Cantina, Off Main Cafe, The Claim Jumper Steak House.
