A February 2004 trip
to St. Thomas by James Kerr
Quote: We went on two day sails during a weeks stay in St. Thomas. I would recommend each of these sails to anyone going to the US Virgin Islands.
Attraction | "Limnos Charters to Virgin Gorda"
Spend about an hour climbing and swimming at this beach. Have a little time to shop at the marina before heading to Norman Island. A buffet lunch was served along the way, along with drinks and snacks all day long.
At Norman Island, snorkeling was great along the caves and cliff face. Many beautiful fish to be seen. Water was very clear and calm for this swim. Back to Compass Point Marina by 4:30pm after clearing US customs at Cruz Bay, St. John. Cost was about $95 a person. Crew was great and about thirty people on each trip. Had a great time!!

A buffet lunch is served on the afternoon sail to Grand St. James Island, where once again you can snorkel and see many beautiful fish. The buffet lunch is great and drinks are served by the crew all day. Makes for an outstanding day sail for the entire family. I would highly recommend this trip. Call 1-800-808-7604 to book ahead of time. It can also be booked on the Internet. The cost is $95/person.
