A May 2002 trip to Cabo San Lucas by kikibag

Cabo is an awesome Mexico city to visit. This small town is what Cancun was 20 years ago. Lots of clean beaches, fresh air, and great marine life. They have limited expansion on the beaches to keep the environment healthy. Deep sea fishing is awesome!

It's literally 5 minutes to town on foot or you can get a water taxi for 3 bucks

Resort Experience:
This is a beautiful resort with every comfortable amenity. Resort food is good but on the expensive side. Very safe and great pools. Good family resort.

Restaurant | "The Office"

Great food, great music, and on the beach! They also keep the local peddlers at bay so you can enjoy your time there... Also, they have the best smoothies I have ever had - spent a whole afternoon sucking smoothies and occupied one of their sun lounge chairs - awesome!

Attraction

This was really fun - they provided the equipment, lunch and drinks on the way back along with a brief marina tour. Water was beautiful -- wear lots of sunscreen and apply often, as the water just eats it off of you. I had SPF 30 on and though I was safe... Burnt the bejebees out of myself on my honeymoon - not fun after that.
