Dickenson's Bay is a beautiful beach. It is only about half a mile long, but the soft powdery sand and the beautiful ocean made you wish it would go on forever. We quickly learned that beaches with "best beach" awards don't always mean miles and miles of white sand, but nonetheless it was very picturesque. Additionally, there was no seaweed, rocks, pebbles, or sharp shells, so swimming and walking along the edge were comfortable and relaxing.
The vendors along the beach were not pushy as in some places, and you found yourself engaging in conversation with them, learning more about them and their island, rather than trying to avoid them.
