Honolulu is a large city, but you still have a small town feel! Beaches, history, culture, dining, and shopping are all within minutes of each other!

We stayed in Honolulu for three days and walked miles! If you want to shop, this is the place to do it! You name it and it's yours for the taking, including clothes, jewelry, art. . . anything you can imagine!

Quick Tips:

Take a tour of Pearl Harbor -- make sure to book this early in your trip. Don't wait because space fills up fast! And it's worth it! It's part of our history and it puts things into perspective!

Best Way To Get Around:

If you're only staying a few days, don't rent a car. Public transportation is very easy to use and we walked everywhere!

Waikiki Beach

Waikiki Beach is what you think about when traveling to Honolulu. Before seeing the beach, everyone has an idea of what they are expecting. Waikiki Beach is not as big as you might think, but it's worth the trip! There’s Diamond Head in the background, surfers in the water, and the Duke watching over the beach! Bring some chairs and sunblock, and sit and watch people all day long. There are restaurants up and down the street for you to get a bite to eat!
