The buildings are wood frame and multi story. They are fully covered by sprinklers and smoke alarms. There are no elevators. The stairways are noisy in the morning if you are not getting up to ski. The staff is excellent and friendly. The swimming pool and whirlpools in the health club are very good. The exercise area is well equipped with workout machines. The video game/ rec area for kids is in the health club and main office building – it’s good.

The accommodations are typical, but include a full kitchen and gas fireplaces. There are excellent views of the mountains from most rooms.

Small in size but big in quality of offerings. Best to make reservations, but 1-2 people may find seats at bar. Good selection of meat dishes, seafood and vegetarian. Nightly specials. Well-stocked bar with some draft beer selections. Good wine list. Nice dessert selections. Service was very good. Casual, but you may upgrade OK.

About a mile south of Loon Mountain off Route 112. Large dining areas on two floors with good bar area, including pizza. Working fireplace in bar area and lounge chairs to enjoy fire and people-watching. No reservations are usually taken, first come, first served. VERY busy on weekends and vacations.

Good food selection of meats and seafood. Nightly specials. Service was very good. An enjoyable evening after skiing, but be early or be prepared to wait and wait.
