A week in Daytona Beach

A November 2002 trip to Daytona Beach by Happy55

Quote: Lousy resort (Sandy Shores) but we still had fun. Less people around. Best place to eat was Inlet Harbor at Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station.

Lunch was good and cheap for the excellent quality. Dinner is expensive. They do have live entertainment at night. The location is great at the far end of the beach and very private. Great for boating or fishing. Less noise and very romantic too.

Attraction

Well, we didn't do too much fishing but it was great looking at other people fishing in their relaxed mood, alone and enjoying the secluded atmosphere. I higly recommend fishing in this area.
