Best Things Nearby:
The town of Oceanside is a 15-minute walk away. There are lots of great restaurants, a pier, and small stores.

Disneyland is an hour away. Huntington Beach and many other beaches are an hour away.

The beach at the resort is awesome and there’s lots of surfing activity. There are great restaurants within walking distance. There’s a coffee shop/deli right across the street.

Best Things About the Resort:
It's right on the beach, well, down the steps and then there it is. There was a good variety of activities for the guests to participate in, with activities such as Bingo, casino night, art activities, yoga, etc.

Resort Experience:
This is a beautiful resort. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The pool is very warm, but outside, as the pools in California are. There are two whirlpools on the grounds. The grounds are beautiful and kept up nicely.

There is a wonderful deli inside of this health food store. They have a great dairy-free date shake. They make wonderful sandwiches, smoothies, etc. They sell organic wines and have a wonderful variety of organic fruits and veggies. This is by far one of the better health food stores that we have found in our travels.

We did not enjoy this restaurant at all. We went because it was on the grounds of our timeshare. The restaurant was extremely crowded (tables cramped closely together) and noisy. This is not a place to come and relax; a conversation was difficult. Surprisingly, all week long, the place was overflowing with people waiting to get in.

The food wasn't anything to write home about either.
