This is our home resort where we come back to every year, so I am a little biased. It is a nice, recently remodeled complex with 6 different buildings and several villas. The best thing is a huge beach and olympic size pool. It is always full during X-Mas weeks, but there is plenty of room for everyone. You do have to get up early and reserve a chair by the pool. Every unit 1broom and up has a full kitchen with everything you need. We love it - that is why we go back there all the time.

If you come to Ft. Lauderdale and have 2 hours, you must go on the river tour. You will get to see some of the most expensive homes in South Florida and get a glimpse of a lifestyle that I can only dream of.

We did our tour at night and got to see X-Mass decorations everywhere. Next time we will go during the day to see the houses in more detail.

Afterwards, go and eat at the Downtowner Saloon (across from where you board the boat) to get great food for great price and a little local flavor.
