An October 2003 trip to Wisconsin Dells by Loraleefry

The condos are large and well-maintained. The grounds are gorgeous and border a state park. It is so peaceful listening to birds or walking in the woods. There are indoor and outdoor pools. I love walking in the woods, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

Best Things About the Resort:
It is close to the Dells, yet isolated in the woods. Clean. Family friendly.

Resort Experience:
We bought a week 10 years ago and now have two weeks. Often we trade, but we enjoy going up even for a day trip as owners are allowed to walk around, use the pool, etc. It is clean and peaceful, even when full of guests. It is close to the Dells, Baraboo, and even Madiosn.

Cracker Barrels are long established in the South and other parts of the country with a reputation for rib-sticking food. The gift shops are wonderful. You can count on Cracker Barrel for consistently good food in the Dells or anywhere.

Bordering the timeshares at Peppertree Tamarack, the Mirror Lake State Park is a wonderful backyard bonus. There are trails to hike or cross-country ski. Boaters and fishermen can amble down to Mirror Lake and endulge their passions too.
