The concept of visiting the Winter Music Conference - the mecca of dance music - was considered, but it would have finished 2 weeks before we were set to go, so we decided to try our hand at drinking, partying, socialising and having debauched fun!Quick Tips: Either stay in one place or totally dismiss the concept of the USA as a developed country - the public transport infrastructure is appalling! We stayed a few days in Miami before heading to Pompano Beach, then Daytona Beach - it was Greyhound or bust! Pompano Beach, where we stayed, was quiet and just a strip of beach front hotels, but when we got the bus up to Las Olas, we found the Beach Place, which is a fantastic mall of small shops and loads of bars and restaurants. Every taste and budget is catered for -- two of our party even managed to consume over $200 of drinks and not pay a cent (although I wouldn't reccommend trying it on purpose).
