Florida east coast golf

Great beach, outlet mall shopping, and cheap golf...What more could you ask for? Staying at the Fairfield property Fairways at Palm Aire was a good choice. Top notch accomadations set amid five golf courses...awsome!

Now to be honest, the weather was bad the previous week, so I only played the course that was in good shape, but it was still fun. How about U.S./round with a cart! That is the best deal in Florida, I guarantee!

The giant outlet mall was aprox. 20-30min. away and was well worth the trip.

If you like nightlife, then make sure you drive into Fort Lauderdale and party at Los Olas. The beach there is fabulous as well. The resort also offers great snorkel/party trips, dnner/party trips to Miami, and even had a great live animal show (a must if you have the kids).

Quick Tips:

Shopping in Los Olas area is absurdly exspensive but it`s fun to look. Take a drive around the residential areas to see how the rich and famous live. We even went on an open house tour of a ,000,000.00 property. (The biggest bathroom I`ve ever seen)

Best Way To Get Around:

I still think a rental car is the best way to enjoy any vacation if you can afford it.

The course was very pleasent to play. It is not the top facillity in the state but is a good course. A driving range is available (over water), so is a practice green of course. Water and ice machines are on the course, which is a must when it gets as hot as it does.

The price is the biggest attraction. Check with the resort ahead of time for fees, as RCI guests at the Fairfield property get special rates.

The Los Olas area was a blast to let loose at night. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on drinks and cover charges. Most clubs are for the young at heart, so forget what your birth certificate says and have some fun!
