I just got back from Nagasaki.
We went to Huis Ten Bosch (in Sasebo) and stayed last night. It is quite a large place, built in the late ‘90s to look like Amsterdam. The Dutch began trading here in the 16th century and are remembered to this day. This place must have cost BILLIONS! All buildings resemble Amsterdam in the 1700s, complete with canals, windmills and all. There isn't much to do except walk around to shops and spend money, although we did see a 3-D movie about a little Dutch girl and her dog. It was in Japanese only.
