I really enjoyed this place. It's a casual place with a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. I got the burrito/enchilada combo and was very satisfied. They have a huge selection of margaritas, so if you are margarita drinker, this is the place for you.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Attraction | "Hard Rock Casino & Hotel"

This is another place that caters to the younger people. It’s always crowded and they seem to draw the beautiful people. Table limits are somewhat moderate -- you can actually find a $10-15 table on a weekend night. Much like the Palms, the music is blasting and the dealers are sociable and usually attractive. The only thing missing from this place is televisions in the gaming area so that you can follow the big game while playing some blackjack. Still that’s a minor complaint, since it’s hard to keep your eyes on a game when so many beautiful people keep on walking by.

Although not on par with the Palms or Hard Rock when it comes to atmosphere, it’s still a fun place to gamble. This place gets big extra points for having an ESPN Zone restaurant/bar where you can watch any sport you want, while grubbing down on some very good bar food and drinking a beer. The gaming area is usually pretty crowded, although with much less of the younger set that you see at Hard Rock or the Palms. It’s lively and fun with the dealers usually getting into the whole Vegas spirit. Another bonus is that they have TVs strategically placed throughout the casino so you can follow the best sporting events while playing some blackjack.

Ghostbar

Attraction | "The Ghostbar"

The bars at the Palms are top notch and, as expected, are very crowded. This is means if you plan on hitting Rain or the Ghostbar, you better arrive early or know someone or you might be in line for a couple hours. Arrive before 11pm or eat at the 9 Steakhouse and you can usually beat the crowd. The view from the Ghostbar alone is worth the wait and the cover charge. Also, this is a great place to see celebrities. It is expensive, but so are most of the nice places in Vegas.

Times Square Bar

Attraction | "The Bar at Times Square"

This is one of those dueling piano bars that every city seems to have. For some reason, we always have fun here. The cover charge is low ($10) and the dress code is non-existent. Need I say more. It’s easy to meet people of the opposite sex and that’s probably the main reason we like it so much. It’s loud and rowdy and the drinks seem to flow at the fastest pace. I'd suggest making a night out of hanging out at NY-NY, hitting the ESPN Zone for dinner, and then playing some blackjack, before heading here to finish your partying for the night.

VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub at Rio

Attraction | "Voodoo Lounge"

The Voodoo Lounge is a bigger, less trendy version of the Palm’s Ghostbar. Before you get the wrong impression, the Ghostbar actually copied off the Voodoo lounge, not vice versa. It has a tremendous view and it's still a pretty popular place to party. We had fun here and the view is great.

They have some specialty drinks that you might want to check out. I think the most popular is called the Witch Doctor's Brew. If you want to get the view of the Ghostbar without the long wait, I'd suggest heading here.
