Our trip to Montego Bay, staying at Sunset Beach, an excellent all-inclusive value.

Best Things Nearby:
White river, Martha Brae river, excellent calm beaches.

Best Things About the Resort:
This was a great all-inclusive value. Not as expensive as the fancier places but the food was good, the rooms clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the beaches were amazing! The water was literally as calm as a bathtub, I could not believe it was the ocean. They have very good workout facilities and pools here as well as lots of activities for those so inclined.

Resort Experience:
Food options are excellent and plentiful. The food in the main dining hall had a great variety and was quite good--not gourmet but certainly good enough so as to not detract. Hot dogs and hamburgers available between meals at another location, several bars always open and conveniently located. They had a little "pub" room with pool-tables that was fun to play in and watch football. The two special restaurants were good, unfortunately you can only visit each once per week.

The resort is far away from town, so it's quiet, but there will be cab fares to anywhere you want to go. We took the ATV tour, the white water tubing tour, and the rafting tour. The White River is gorgeous! The tubing was kind of cheesy in that the guide held on to all the tubes all the way down the river, but the scenery was not to be missed.
