Spent a lot of time on the resort, along with visiting the rest of the island.

Hotel | "Divi Little Bay Beach & Racquet Club"

Best Things Nearby:
There is a great shopping area on Front St. Just down the hill there is another resort that has a casino.

Best Things About the Resort:
This is a tropical getaway. The resort is different than many others because it is not "just a hotel."

Resort Experience:
The island was beautiful. The water was blue, the temperature was great (averaged around 82!). The staff at the resort really tried to make you feel at home.

Restaurant

It was an open dining area that can be closed off if the weather gets poor. The staff was quick and friendly (which isn't always common on the island). The food was excellent!! I had Mahi Mahi stuffed with crab and shrimp. The cost was about $19US.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was extremely attentive--even the manager stopped by a time or two. One of our plates came out and looked so great that we took a picture--it was a lobster thermidor platter that cost about $27. There was a local vendor that made picture frames, silverware, and a few other things. There was live music playing the whole time that we were there. I had the fettucine alfredo, which was good although not the best that I've ever had.

This is an area we didn't discover until the end of our trip. There is a little area in Grand Case that has four different barbecue places right next to each other. The competition keeps their prices really low. Everything is grilled and they have plenty of sides. Two of us ate for about $16. They do have some more expensive choices, but it's a nice price break from the norm on the island.

They have things like lobster, chicken, ribs, shrimp, and more.

Attraction

We spent the whole day sailing and swimming (and drinking!). This was a laid-back sail that was very relaxing. We stopped and were able to snorkel and swim in several locations. We saw a lot of fish, and a few members of our group even saw a couple of octopi!! The food was excellent, tuna and egg salad sandwiches to snack. For lunch, a Caribbean quiche with mango chutney (I had never tried it but it was great!). The crew was small and friendly. Only complaint was that they didn't have their fishing gear on board.

Attraction

It is a glass bottom boat tour. You get to see many fish, and they send a diver into the water to bring the fish close. We had to travel a little extra, but we got to see several different types of rays and a sea turtle. It was a very neat experience, but we only went to one area. The cost was $30pp US.
