The ride AIR was fantastic (although it was new when we went, so we had to queue quite a bit). Also, HEX was a fantastic ride for all ages!
Quick Tips:
It may not seem like a well-known ride, but HEX is a must!If you don't mind being a bit cold, I would advise to go off-peak, as you don't have to queue for the rides as much!
Best Way To Get Around:
It is a lot of walking, as the park is HUGE! but it is well worth it. There are a few monorail/sky rides to take you across the park.
We stayed in the Alton Towers Hotel (there are two more new ones open now), but it is quite expensive really. Also would advise to stay in a nearby Travel Inn and drive to the park in the morning.
