Stratsbourg Afternoon

This city has everything, from shopping to historic landmarks. It has both French and German influences that give it a very international flair. There is a great cathedral and a marvelous food store that offers all kinds of goodies. The cafes around the older part of Strasbourg will make you spend the whole afternoon just people watching.

Quick Tips:

Start in the old city and forget about everything else. Also be hungry because the food is excellent and there are cafes everywhere.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking is the only way to go, some streets are closed to cars also. There are trains that service Strasbourg from all major cities.

I never stayed in Strasbourg but I did see a great hotel located in the Center Plaza in the old city. I asked and they said it was excelent, very historical. There are many modern hotels from all major chains.

This is a cafe made for people watching. the food is very nice and you can spend the whole day just with a cup of coffee.

You can spend days just walking through the different stores and it's merchandise. The prices are very competitive and the merchandise is original. Feel free to browse or to fight it out for pricing. Also go shopping in its food stores, great variety and the pastries!!!!
