Resort Experience:
I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the Residence Albatros (#3930).
When we arrived with a group of 33 people, the resort was not prepared. We all came from the USA, but the person at the desk spoke almost no English. They gave us a room for two not three people. The beds were two single beds. The sheets were approximately 12 TPI and there were no blankets. There was one area air conditioner in the far corner of one room, but no air-conditioning at all in the other room. There was no coffee maker. My daughter and I got sick during the week and they had no blankets at all.
The restaurant on site was poor. The service was slow and the food was adequate, but the wait was about an hour to get a salad, omelette, or anything.
The beach is inaccessible. The hot tub was cool. If you are going here, be prepared to sit around the pool or get transportation because nothing goes on here. My 20-year-old daughter could not go to the pool by herself without being sexually harassed by the employees. My husband asked for help to find a windsurfing area. We were promised that they would help, but they did nothing. They had entertainment one night, but it did not show up.
They arranged for the transfer to the airport to get us to the international airport approximately one hour after the airplane had left. The desk clerk was informed that the bus would be late, but she told us that the plane was waiting for us. The plane did not wait.
