Resort Experience:
The flat was simple, yet clean. A balcony faced the pool and the ocean beyond, which was breathtaking at sunset. There isn't much of a swimmable beach area, but you can walk along and gather rocks or seashells. The outdoor pool area is interestingly designed, with a specified area for the "little ones." (There is also an adults-only pool, and separately, an indoor pool and sauna.) The main outdoor pool, however, can be crowded--get there early. There is a tennis court on site, and they can make prior arrangments for golf. A trip in May will provide hot, sunny days and comfortable nights. There are daily activities for those who are interested. The staff is friendly, and the front desk will make day-trip arrangements. A car is recommended. The resort is close to a highway and the front desk will provide directions to major points of interest in and around Malaga, Marbella, and beyond. Suggestion: For those anticipating an arrival in Malaga late in the evening, make prior arrangements with the resort for a basic food pack (there is a charge) so that you will have it waiting for you in your flat upon arrival. Grounds surpise: A grotto-type area--beautifully lit at night.
