A December 2003 trip to Grand Rapids by telwaygas

A nice short road trip from the Detroit area. Nice little zoo and museum. Small distance from shopping at Saugatuck MI.

There isn't much to say about Motel 6's. They're all pretty much as advertised. They're clean and comfortable but low on frills. This one's close to fast food, sit down dining, and a movie theater. It's about 10 minutes from the downtown area and about 15 from the John Ball Zoo.
