L'Hotel is a small place with just twenty rooms, but it is a five star establishment. We had a lovely deluxe room that was VERY spacious and had a small sitting area, a TV, and a spacious bathroom with a large King size bed. The room overlooked a cute little courtyard with flowers and white rocks. The building itself is beautiful and "old world" looking with steep spiraling staricases and sitting rooms. Our stay was short but lovely. It is very expensive though, so if your on a budget don't stay here. If you're looking for absolute luxury, do stay.

Cathédrale Notre-Dame

Attraction | "Notre Dame Cathedral"

Notre Dame Cathedral was grand and beautiful. Unfortunately, when we were there, the front facade had scaffolding on it, so we couldn't see it all properly, but it was still a beautiful building. It is exquisitely designed and there is a small park around the back that you can sit in.

Eiffel Tower

Attraction | "Ze' Eiffel Tower"

The Eiffel Tower really is a beautiful structure. I got my first glimpse of it atop a ferris wheel at night, so I saw it all lit up and it really was amazing. The next day, we actually went there and saw it up close. We didn't climb it, but we walked underneath and were able to get some really good looks from the park. At the time, it was right before the millennium, so there was a countdown right on the Tower.

Musée du Louvre

Attraction | "The Louvre"

Unfortunately, when we went to the Louvre, it was closing within the half hour, but we got in for half price and went through quickly. It was still a lovely experience. We saw the Mona Lisa up close without a crowd since we were there so late, so that ended up being a blessing in disguise. It is a large place, but their maps are very helpful and the cafe in the Louvre is delicious.
