This is a rustic-type lodge with a great view of the desert and wonderful landscaping. Two nice pools and great dining. Nice fireplace in the room with a small kitchenette.

This is right on Route 66 in the Radisson. Nice sit down dining with a wide selection of Southwestern food. Some more unsuual dishes and great desserts. Service was a little sparse considering the restaurant was not crowded. A wonderful eggplant soup!

This is a state park with trails and an educational center about the Arizona desert and its history. Very nice little side trip and the scenery is breathtaking. You will be glad you made the trip! Not crowded because it is on the edge of Sedona.

This is a 40-room mansion that was home to Timothy and Michael Riordan, who settled the Flagstaff area. Unlike the remainder of Arizona, the home is made of wood. The home is arts and crafts sytle and has many unusual items and family collections. The tour guide was knowledgeable and I came away with a greater understanding of the development of this part of Arizona that I would not have gotten if I had just visited the Grand Canyon. Very personal. Not too crowded as people do not know about this.
