The Flamingo Mall is approximately a five minute walk away. It has shops for souvenirs (three tee's for $66), a sports bar, closest bank machine--buy all your snacks here for normal prices!

Best Things About the Resort:
The beach was awesome! Waves were kind of rough, great for body surfing. Met people who walked down from the Royal Sunset to body surf. Can walk deep into the ocean and still have water come up to your waist/shoulders with all the sand dunes. Sand was white and soft (not quite powder but close).

Resort Experience:
The unit was spacious. Beds were rock hard. I asked housekeeping for an extra mattress to put on the rock hard one to make the beds sleep quality. On-site shops. A bonus is that there's a Tony Roma's attached to the resort, but it's not included in the all-inclusive. Drinks all needed to be made with an extra shot. The beer was great. Security is insane--no guests!

The food was great. We had chicken nachos, calamari rings, tortilla soup, and a chicken sandwich. Drinks are huge, served in large glass Viking-type goblets. The staff came around and had each of us chug melon liquor while sitting on your lap. They have a great party atmosphere, and at night they open up the dancce floor. If you're looking for a fun party place to eat, this is it.

This place is wild! On Halloween they had a crazy Jason vs Freddy show swinging above the crowd. Also had Cirque de Soleil-type dancers in hoops above the crowd and a Michael Jackson "Thriller" video lip-synched show. The usual night shows involved The Mask, Beetlejuice, Guns n Roses lipsynch, and local drum players and singers. This place is packed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The crowd starts to thin at about 2am. It's a huge meat market--be prepared to be picked up every 15 to 20 minutes! It's a very sexually charged atmosphere. Fantastic party that's best of Cancun for dancing!
