What's not to do? Read my free-form page for all of the things available. There is something for everyone, anytime of the year. We love to go 4 or 5 times a year because it is so close. We usually go at the first of the year to experience the snow, in the spring to get out of the house, in the fall to see the leaves, and any other time that we can think of an excuse. It is also really fun to escape there to do a little Christmas shopping at the outlets.Quick Tips: Look for coupon booklets in your hotel/timeshare and use them. They have coupons available for everything.Best Way To Get Around: They have a trolley system, but we like to drive ourslves. The trolleys are very slow. You re...Read More

These are really nice. We stayed in a two-bedroom condo with two baths. It also had a fireplace, a full kitchen, and a balcony with a view of the city. It was very clean, and also had a nice indoor pool and hot tub.

This is a really nice place to stay with the kids. You can walk downtown and there is lots to do. They have clean rooms, two indoor pools, a playground, a Little Ceasar's, Louie's, a little store, an arcade, and planned kids activities. It was really worth the money.

This is our favorite place to eat. We never go to Gatlinburg without stopping here. They have good old country cooking, but the breakfast is the best. You better go early, or you're gonna stand in line. Everyone loves this place.

This is a really nice place to eat. We always like to call ahead and reserve a seat with a view of the water. They have your basic steakhouse type menu--chicken, salads, steak, etc. Very good food and a great atmosphere. Look on restaurant.com for great deals on gift certificates for this and other area restaurants.

This place is really neat. You can visit the apple farm and see how they turn the apples into many different products. They also have a store where you can buy many of the items they make. The meal here at dinner is seven courses and it is really wonderful. You leave with boxes of food, unless you go to dinner really hungry and eat all the food. It is classic country cooking.

AWESOME! You first go in through a regular aquarium setup, then you come to the tunnel. If this isn't neat enough, you next go to a hands-on learning center. Next they had a Titanic exhibit that was very interesting. After that you proceed to a restaurant and cafe that overlooks a diving show. Both the restaurant and cafe are reasonably priced. Last you go to Manta Ray Bay, where you can pet them. They also have a nice gift shop.

Goodness! What to say? There is so much to do in Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas. Let's start with Gatlinburg. You have Hard Rock Cafe, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, Ripley's Aquarium of The Smokies, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, cabins, motels, resorts, golf, and shopping.

In Pigeon Forge you have putt-putt, go carts, restaurants, accommodations, Dollywood, outlet stores, Nascar racetracks, horse stables, hiking, camping, waterparks. . .the list goes on.

Last, but not least, the national park. You can do so much here too. They also have lots of picnic areas, nature trails, overlooks, learning centers, hiking, and the famous Clingman's Dome. So, really, they have it all.
