A travel journal
to Hampton by jenarlene
Quote: Visiting Hampton will get you a true Maritime experience with beautiful rolling hills, farms, and friendly small town people and rivers. Hampton is just off of the Trans Canada, on the way to Fundy, Sussex, Moncton, and Nova Scotia. Be sure to stop by!
There is a lot to see during the various seasons. Frost Mountain has an incredible view in the fall. There is tremendous participation and enthusiasm in the fall for Thanksgiving and Halloween. And our Christmas parade shouldn't be missed. I have never seen a more authentic Mrs. Clause!
Hampton has a rink for sports and community events, a new outdoor swimming pool, and a brand new baseball field. You can walk "downtown" Hampton to the post office, pharmacy, and grocery store, but don't be surprised if you don't end up walking home. Someone will offer you a ride home as very friendly people live in Hampton. Hampton is just off the Trans Canada highway, just half an hour from Sussex, and one and a half hours from Moncton for shopping, water parks, and the zoo.
