Honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas

Overview

Quote:
Cabo San Lucas turned out to be a great choice for our honeymoon. It is definitely a place that has it all: fishing, snorkeling, nightlife, beach fun, and more. If you're looking for a mixture of tourist fun mixed with local life, I think Cabo is a great place to go. True, if you so choose you can spend all your time in Cabo San Lucas where 90% of the faces are American tourists and shopping offers familiar venues. However, if you're a little more adventurous, you can venture a short distance away to San Jose Del Cabo where life is much more "local" and the experience is much more wholesome.Quick Tips: I talked to several people who say the fishing there is great. Best Things Nearby:You can walk right out of the resort onto a wonderful sandy beach. Also, the bird sanctuary is a reasonable walk along the ocean. Both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are minutes away on local transportation or via arranged taxi with the resort.Best Things About the Resort:This resort is obviously new or newly renovated. Everything is very clean and new. The all inclusive package is a great way to take the worry out of making plans for food or entertainment every night.Resort Experience:Despite being a good sized resort, the Club Solaris pulls you into their family. They have a charming, energetic "acitivity team" that pulls you in...Read More

My wife and I probably had the most fun at this club. The atmosphere is definitely crazy with a main DJ standing in the middle of the club, whipping the dancing crowd into a frenzy. The crowd is mostly twenty-somethings, but I saw several people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s.

The good thing here is the upper deck, which allows you to get away from the dancing craziness below and people watch for awhile. From there you can also get your drinks without squeezing through the throng of people and even gaze into open the night sky above.
