There are suppose to be plenty of things nearby like Charleston SC, but if you are looking for peace and quiet and a beautiful beach like I was, it becomes difficult to venture off of the island. Make sure you watch the sunset.

Best Things About the Resort:
South Point is new and is comprised of 11 beach townhouses and a small pool. The units are beautiful and it is just a short walk to the beautiful beach. If you are looking for luxury and a peaceful setting, this is as good as it gets!!!! There is a noise ordinance after 10pm on the island, but it really seems like it is 24 hours a day.

Resort Experience:
We had a presidential unit, which was beautiful. It featured a garage under the unit. The whole unit was decorated with a palm tree theme. The living room was very richly decorated with two sofas and several chairs and beautiful palm tree accessories. The living room had the highest cathedral ceiling I have seen. It went all the way up to the third floor. The dining and kitchen area were off the living room. There is a powder room off this area. The master bedroom was on this same level which had a king sized bed and a deck off the bedroom. There is a very large master bathroom with a garden tub, two sinks and glass shower stall. There is a really nice front porch with a table and chairs. On the second level was a sitting area, washer and dryer, and two bedrooms, each of which had two double beds. There were two bathrooms on this level with a tub/shower combination. There was also another deck off of these bedrooms. On the third level, which was like a loft, there was a sitting area and the forth bedroom. This bedroom had a king sized bed and a bathroom with a shower. There was another deck off of this bedroom. There is a large TV with VCR in the living room and a TV in each of the bedrooms. Words cannot really describe how beautiful this unit is.

The beach is really flat and great for walking. It has the best seashells we have ever found on any beach. You can sit on the beach and watch the dolphins swim by.
