This hotel was very nice. The lobby is nicely furnished and decorated. The room had ample space, the bed was comfortable, and the view was great. They have a nice in-room entertainment system with movies, games and web TV. They also have free internet access in the lobby, and free buffet breakfast. (Good food, full breakfast selections) The only thing I wished they had was a hot tub. (They do have a nice indoor pool.) It is in a great location, right in the heart of downtown. Overall, a great hotel for a romantic weekend getaway!

This is a wonderful restaurant on the 30th floor of the Springfield Hilton. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the view spectacular. I had the baked ziti -- wonderful flavor and arrived just when I was ready for it. My husband's canelloni was presented beautifully on the plate. The flavor of the sauce was different than I've tasted before, but very good! Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

Springfield has many historical sights and things to see about Abraham Lincoln. But Lincoln's Tomb is the one that everyone should see, whether or not they are interested in history. It is an amazing structure, with many statues and plaques. You can go inside and actually stand where Lincoln is buried. His wife and three children are also buried there. It is beautiful inside, with lots of marble and granite. You really get a sense of what a great president he was and how beloved he was. It's a must-see. Admission is free.
