Great service. The rooms were grand. The food was great. Life at its best.

Bathroom Duel Sinks
I was going to the World Series and stayed here because it was in the middle of the airport and the stadium.

We arrived at the security gate, gave security our name, and drove on. There was two bellmen waiting for us. They opened our doors and welcomed us by my last name. They removed the bags from the trunk and proceeded to take us to our room, We didn''t want to go to the room, we wanted to eat instead. He took us to Links Grill in the resort. We sat outside with a view of the golf course and a large fountain in the lagoon. The chicken pannini in a pesto sauce was unbelievably good. The service and food quality was excellent.

As we were leaving the restaurant we walked out the door to find the bellman still waiting at the door of the restaurant with our luggage.

The bellman proceeded to take us to room # 224. He opened the door and we just looked at each other in amazement. The bathroom is made of 100% marble. It had a double sink. There''s a huge, long, full marble shower that contained two shower jets: one in front and one old fashioned shower head on top of you. It also had a separate bathtub, and to the left of the shower was a room with the toilet and a bidet. When I went to exit the room I noticed two white bathrobes and two pair of slippers in the pockets. The toiletries that were in the bathroom where all top shelf. The soap even had mineral grains in it.

The room consisted of two queen beds, a desk with fax machine, a TV with pay-per-view and online Internet access for an additional charge. The refrigerator came stocked with pay for sodas and snacks. The room had a safe, hairdryer, and iron but no coffee maker. It also offered a large patio.

The hotel had a beautiful pool and a heated Jacuzzi. They also provided for a free shuttle to its new sister Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa, which was even more grand than this hotel. The resort I was staying in had only 60 rooms. The newer hotel had 1000 rooms.

We took the free shuttle to the Westin Diplomat Resort to eat breakfast and to see the hotel. The food consisted of a breakfast buffet with everything imaginable. The pool was a sight to see--it overlooked the beach that did not have a very large beach front. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The inside of the hotel was very large and grand. You were able to use the amenities at both hotels.

If you golf the Diplomat country Inn and Spa is for you. You are in the middle of the coarse. With only 60 rooms you are treated like gold and the resort is very quite.

If you want a really grand resort with a super huge pool, then the Diplomat Resort and Spa is for you.
