New York is great in all its words! Times Square, NY cheesecake, NY pizza, Broadway, Harlem, Macy's, Penn Station, Madison Square Gardens, Empire State Building, and Statue of Liberty. Who wouldn't love NEW YORK!

Hotel Pennsylvania

This place is a meathouse! If you can avoid it, then AVOID it. We will NEVER stay at this location again. The rooms (well, the room we were in) were terrible. They should have been deemed uninhabitable. The carpet was old and dirty. The wallpaper was peeling. The furniture looked like it came from the Salvation Army. Totally the pits!

Macy's

This Macy's is all that it is cut out to be. It is named as the World's Largest Store and I definitely believe that it is. Each department has its own theme and music, which makes a great shopping experience. The prices are good. Always look for the coupons and sales. It has a great bar/restaurant in the cellar -- the cheesecake and the chocolate pecan pie are delicious and very reasonably priced. I love to go to Macy's. You can make a day of it just wandering the many floors and departments.

Empire State Building

Buy your tickets from the Visitor's Center in Times Square. The ticket lines are extremely long at the building itself. The Empire State Building offers fantastic views of the city on a clear day. Loved it!

AIDA

This show was stunning! Although Tony Braxton did not perform the day we saw it, we still enjoyed every moment of it. Be sure to get discount coupons from the Visitor's Center in Times Square. We had fabulous seats. Worth every penny!
