An October 2003 trip
to Lake of the Ozarks by sound man
Quote: WorldMark Lake of the Ozarks. The resort is right on the lake. The mornings were mysteriously misty. When the sun would shine thru the colors came alive. Green, poinsetta red, pumpkin orange, and yellow and blue skies. The sunsets could light up the sky with red. God did good!
Go back down the path where you can cross over to the island. Hike directly across so you can see where the water turns a beautiful tourquoise. The pictures you can take here are awsome. You`ve got the cliff wall where pigeons live in cliffside, then look to the top and you`ll see the mansion you were just at. Look back down, and you are surrounded by trees full of color--red, orange, yellow, and green. It is a feast for the eyes. God did good!
