Best Things Nearby:Best Things About the Resort:Convenience to shopping and restaurants.Resort Experience:The grounds at the Pona Kai are very nice and well kept, and we had a wonderful view of the area from our room. We did have some problems checking in and getting into the correct room. They had made an error in the assigned unit due to a misunderstanding on the phone. The one-bedroom with partial kitchen we had requested was unsatisfactory to us--it had no view and was very small. We paid extra to upgrade to a regular one-bedroom, which then had the lovely view and very roomy but the decorating in it was very plain and not attractive. We checked in ...Read More

Very nice beach for families with grassy area in addition to the sand. Good and save for small children to wade/swim and look for small fish in the tidepools. On-site restaurant and restrooms.
